There’s nothing I love more than a colorful garden party to make me feel like I’m living out my little fairy princess dreams! And this one did not disappoint. Anna has such a creative brain already – you may recognize her from TikTok or Instagram where she graces the world with her creative lifestyle content! During my consultation with her and her mother, I got to hear their collaborative ideas for this vibrant and romantic wedding, and I got so excited!!
Monet Monet is a precious wedding venue in the heart of Grayton Beach, Florida. It doubles as a charming garden and an art gallery inside the main building. You can also find art sculptures throughout the grounds. It really does feel like you’re very own Secret Garden. Whimsical vibes, lush greenery, trickling ponds and fountains, blooming plants – all under the dazzling disco ball above the dance floor. So much character!
Anna and Jack chose to embrace the whimsy of Monet Monet fully for their big day. They invited their guests to join a garden party for the ages! Their color palette left out no colors, and every little detail was thought of. Small paper butterflies were found throughout flower bouquets. Every guest found a handwritten card with pictures of them and the bride or groom with a handwritten letter to welcome them and thank them. All the while, fresh crabcakes were passed around on trays, and cocktail hour was kicked off with a champagne toast. And to beat the Florida heat, each guest fanned themselves with paper fans or donned a parasol.
There were a few surprises thrown into this day to make it extra unique. When Ana and Jack made their grand entrance to the dance floor, their friends and family were holding up giant cut outs of their cats’ heads! Anna’s mother lead a flash mob with all the ladies to dancing Queen by ABBA. I love when a wedding feels personal in small ways like this. And the look on Anna’s face was priceless.
This was one of those wedding days that was so hot, but so fun. I think the wedding planner even snapped a picture of me and my assistants standing in the fountain to rinse off sand while dinner was happening out back haha! Anything to cool off during summer weddings in Florida.
